Outdated database presentation c#

I'm using visual studio 2008, and I linked my project to a local database.
The problem is that even though I update my db with my c# application
(Inserting, deleting, etc.) when I press show table data in the database
explorer I get the same data as I had when first linked the db to visual
studio, regardless of the changes made later. Anyone know how to solve
this problem? Thanks
